Famous Dave’s, Times Square

I’m quite embarrassed to admit having gone there.  The minute I walked in with my friend Sam, I said, “Wow, this place is so Times Square!”.  We picked it because it was on the way between The Roundabout where we had just seen a beautiful production of The Glass Menagerie and the venue where Sam had to go stage manage a show that night.

Good nachos (our standard shared meal) and a reasonable bathroom.  The counters were very wet, but that’s because of careless diners.  The interior suggests luxury with it’s dark wood color scheme and stainless sinks while still being the kind of room you could hose down if you had to.  Probably the best combination for a Times Square bathroom.  ; )

About amyontheotherside

I've always been attentive to the public restrooms I've used...the good, the bad and the ugly! They all have their uniqueness and charms. I explore these on my blog, "From in the Can". In the rest of my life (outside of the bathroom) I have just moved from NYC to Virginia and am chronicling the experience in the "Experiment in a New Life" blog.
