“I’m Not the One” Film Shoot, NYC

Today was the first day of our shoot for John Ryan Johnson’s film, “I’m Not the One”.  We began the day in the Morton Williams grocery store on Bleecker street.  Our company restroom was in the back behind the deli counter, down a long, dingy hall.  The staff generously shared their facility with us and it was a fun bathroom!

Despite a chirping smoke detector in need of a fresh 9volt, the bathroom was peaceful, and though it was a bit scuzzy to the eye, it was fresh to the nose.  The sign hung over the mirror offered a “healthy tip”:  employees should probably wash their hands before returning to the deli counter.  The bottles of Tilex hanging over the top of the stall wall gave me a confident feeling about the restroom.

It was a productive day for the crew and a full day of public restrooms, so check back for more pit stops from our film sets!

About amyontheotherside

I've always been attentive to the public restrooms I've used...the good, the bad and the ugly! They all have their uniqueness and charms. I explore these on my blog, "From in the Can". In the rest of my life (outside of the bathroom) I have just moved from NYC to Virginia and am chronicling the experience in the "Experiment in a New Life" blog.
