Bathrooms of the Middle Ages, filled with…history

Danish excavation produces old poop, lots of information about life in the Middle Ages.

What people ate, how they managed their waste – even how they wiped! – all preserved for study.

About amyontheotherside

I've always been attentive to the public restrooms I've used...the good, the bad and the ugly! They all have their uniqueness and charms. I explore these on my blog, "From in the Can". In the rest of my life (outside of the bathroom) I have just moved from NYC to Virginia and am chronicling the experience in the "Experiment in a New Life" blog.

Well, that’s kind of crazy, but then why would you want to excavate poop. Even if it’s 700 years old. I hope everyone got their shots. Plus…giving tours? What the heck? Who wants to go see 700 hundred year old poop?
